I just finished Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder.
Excellent reading, people. Terrific worldbuilding, fresh twists, great writing and plenty of conflict and danger.
Yes! Another one to go on the 'Worth the Hours' pile.

Currently reading this book AJ. At the beginning, so now I'm intrigued even more....
ReplyDeleteAwesome! We can compare notes once you've finished :-)
ReplyDeleteCool :)
ReplyDeleteIt's also had three or four different covers, which might indicate the publisher didn't know what it was or how to market it... did you see any difficulty?
ReplyDeleteGood question, Erica. The Australian M&B site has them listed under general fiction, because they come out on the MIRA imprint. It might just be the latest edition syndrome; books are constantly re-marketed with shiny new cover art.
ReplyDeleteI have the original Luna Australian edition from goodness knows when. I've also seen them printed by MIRA recently (because Luna no longer is printed in Australia).

ReplyDeleteAnd also, like AJ says re-packaging, but also different markets have different covers too.
